Sam & Julia Kick Off 2012 in Style...

A great start to my year with a wonderful venue, some unseasonably warm weather and gorgeous winter sunshine. Sam & Julia's wedding had all the ingredients of a memorable day...top hats, cute kids, kind weather, a VERY happy couple, proud parents, embarrassing speeches, great food, a good drink, live band, silly dancing and a drunk uncle! A selection of my favourites and slideshow below

Its going to be a busy year..and all I can ask for is 'more of the same please'...photos by me and music by Greg Holden

Lucy and Mark, The Tower - Leez Priory

semi interesting fact: as recently as 1995 leez priory became the first english country house to be issued with a license to conduct civil marriage ceremonies (I did say SEMI interesting) and today has various location within its grounds that allow a ceremony to take place. lucy and mark chose by far the most romantic of these, the room high in its tower! although romantic also reads as intimate leaving me pretty much just enough room to sit on a kindly ushers knee throughout the ceremony (the first part of my editing process required the deleting of the shots that contained in some part a section of the registrars backside) the priory's grounds and its architecture are simply beautiful, and even more so under the bright blue skies that lasted all day and into evening giving us some great light for the romantic/giggly shots of lucy and mark (lucy didn't stop smiling, laughing and giggling all day). my favourites and a slideshow below. photos by me and music by ingrid michaelson..enjoy
