Rob and Beccy, Halswell House Somerset

rob and beccy live half a world away in sydney...but as always that was no problem as a glass of wine (for me anyway as it was morning in sydney) over a skype video call is just as useful as a 'real life' meeting in a coffee shop. choosing a photographer from afar is one thing...but a venue? that's a whole other issue. but thankfully rob and beccy trusted the search to their families who came up trumps with a simply stunning house in the somerset countryside surrounded by rolling fields of uncut wheat (a dream for any photographer). their day was relaxed, emotional, fun and sun kissed with a finale of a retro light up disco dancefloor for all their guests to strut their stuff upon.
as their image discs may take a little longer in the post I have included a larger selection than usual to give an even better flavour of the day...but don't forget the slideshow at the very bottom. photos by me and music by anni b sweet. enjoy

Couldn't have been a better day, and Matt couldn't have been a better photographer.

Discreet, creative, insightful, passionate, professional are but a few adjectives that spring to mind when describing Matt and his work. A consummate operator who encapsulates for me what photography should be about. Thanks mate, from both of us here in Aus, for your efforts on the day and the memories you’ve preserved for us in these photos. Rob and Beccy xx
